Reflections for the Week: Imagination
When was the last time you let your imagination wander?
If there’s a lot going on, our creative juices can dry up a bit.
We lose our flow.
We get stuck in a rut.
We find it hard to think outside of the box.
You might not think that as adults we should be spending time imagining anything.
And yet it’s when we allow our imagination to breathe that we come up with the positive ideas that help us most.
Take a moment to rest for a while. Sit on a chair and place both feet on the floor. Notice how your feet are connecting with the floor right now. Sit with the stillness for a while. See what ideas pop in to your mind and write them in your meditation journal useful.
